INTERPORT SHOOTING.
SHANGHAI TAKE THE LEAD
The Hongkong team's score of 987 in the Interport Shooting competition was beaten on Thursday afternoon last work by the Shangbai team, who ran up в total of 842. The conditions, the M-0. Daily News says, were excellent, though when shooting bugan, there was a rather "fresh" wind blowing. The light remained good throughout, Dr. Braisont was high gun with a total of 99 for the
three ranges. According to the rules of the competition, the two lowest scorers among the twelve making up the team are counted out, and the two were Mesurs. The umpires were Lieut. Col. R. N. Bray, W. J. Terrill (87) and W, T. Bowen (86), Mr. K. J. McEuen, and Captain Godfrey, the latter acting on behalf of Major Trueman. Mesars, G. H. Tait, R. V. Wells, and B. Augier acted as register keepera, and assistance was also given. by five men from H.M.S. Kinsha. The secretarial duties in connection with the competition have been ably undertaken by Mr. A. M.
