At last intination has been received by the Civil Adinjuistrator from the Board of Finance that the long-expected remit- tance of $3,003,000 (for which, it may be remembered, scores of telegrams have been Mont) is coming forward through the Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Cor- poration. "Bye-law No. 1 of the Notification of Infections Disease By-laws made under Section 16 of the Public Health and Build- ings Ordinance, 1903, and published at page 475 of the Regulations of Hongkong, 1915, is hereby amended by the insection of the words paratyphoid fever botween he words “yelapsing fever" and ". in the second line thereof.
