The Publlo are informed that the Parcel Mail to the United Kingdom and Countries. legord which will be closed in this Office at 5 p.m., on the 21st November will be treated s the New Year Mail, and is due to reach London on the 27th December, Parcels may te forwarded via Brindlel with su extra fee of 40 cents, and with this mail ara dne in London on the 20th December.

Parcels containing Gold or Silver must be insured for at least part of their value. All insured Parcels must le sealed. All the scale must be of the same coloured wax, and must bear the impression of a private device. This device must be the same on each seal. Straight, curved, crossed or dotted lines are not admisible, Buttons, Coins and Thimbles cannot be used for sealing.

The Clerks of the Post Office are forbidden to afix stamps on letters or parcels or to seal any article for the public. Parcels that in the opinion of the officer handling the same de not comply will the regulations will not be accepted.

It is requested that Parcels be posted early.
