CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEAR'S PARCEL MAIL.

The Public are informed that the Christmas Parcel Mail to the Unite Kingdom anå Countries beyond will be closed in this Office at 5 pm. on the 7th November. This Parosl Mail by the long sea route vis Gibraltar is due to reach London on the 13th December. The following Mail of the 21st November will be treated as the New Year Mall, and is due to--- Teach Lonton on the 27 December. Parcels may be forwarded via Brindisi with an extra fee of 60 couts, and with this mail sredo in London on the 2015 December.

Parcels containing Gold or Sliver must be insured for at least part of their value. Al insard Parcels must be sealed. All the seals must be of the same coloured was, and mast bear the impression of a private device. This device must be the same on each seal. Straight, curved, crossed or dotted lines are not admissible. Buttons, Coins and Thimbles cannot be used for sealing,

The Clarks of the Post Office are forbidden to affix stamps on lotters or parcels or to seal any article for the public. Parcels that in the opinion of the officer handling the same do act comply with the regulations will not be accepted.

It is requested that Parcels be posted early.
