The Publio are informed that the Christmas Parcel Mail to the United Kingdom and Countries boyou will be closed in this Ofice at 5 pm. on the 7th November. This Parcel Mail in the long sea route via Gibraltar is due to reach London on the 12th December. Toe following Mail of the 21st November will be treated on the New Year Mail, and is due to reach London on the 27th December. Parcels may he forwarded. via Brindisi with an extra T60 conts, and with this mail are due in London on the 20th December.

Parcels containing Gold or Silver must be insured for at least part of their valno, All insured Parcels must to sealed. All the eats must be of the same coloured wax, and mnat bear the impression of a private device. This device must be the same on each seal. Straight, curred, cro sed er dctted lines are net admissible. Euttons, Coins and Thimbles cannot be used for sealing.

The Clarks of the Post Office are forbidden to affix stamps on letters or parcels or to seal any article for the public, Parcels that in the opinion of the officer handling the same de vol comply with the regetitions will not be accepted.

It is requested that Parcels be posted early.
