The negotiations for peace that have been earried on at Bukarest sino tho beginning of the month have terminated in the signing of a treaty by the Balkan States subject to the approval of the Great Powers. As to the prospects of business with thoss countries no very sanguine hopes are being entertained, for the purchasing power of the populations must be seriously impaired and it will require some time before an active domand for manufactured goods, however much they may be needed, can be expected. Much will depend upon the manner in! which, after the expiration of the mora toria granted by the respective" Govern- ments, buyers in those parts will meet their engagements contracted before and. during war whether promptly and honest- ly, thus showing that they are deserving of further eredit, or by pleading inabili ty, which in a great number of cases may be but to true, try to escape their liabili ties. Austria will no doubt suffer mout in that respect, tho, chief markets for her manufacture being the Balkan Sinter and the Near East. THE DANGERS OF INDIGESTION.
You simply can't be well-that is, roully well-if your digestion is bad, for your very food may poison you unless it is digested. That is why indigeation (im- perfect digestion) is the root cause of nearly all oar minor ailtoents arid of many serious ones too.
Food should nourish your body, and. make good the daily waste which never stops, but it can't do that unless your stomach digests it. No wonder dyspeptic often and starved ailing they're men and women are always work and maisoned ton Starved, mind you, not
for lack of food, but because they don't digest the food they eat. Poisoned, not by eating bad foul. but cane their alomachs are weak and their bowels in- active, and so the food they eat ferrets and gives off poisonous gene which are carried by the blood stream to try part of the body.
It is because Motlar Segel's Syrup pustesses in a remarkable degree the power to tone, strengthen and regulate the action of the digestive gathe stomach, liver, and bowels-that it la still, after forty years testing, the best
