Coughs and
Troubles Lung
Angier's Emulsion has been proegribot by the merkeal profession and mad in the hospitals for the last twenty years and is now uni- verally recognised as the standard approved remedy for coughs, Leronchitis, astlina, consumption and all forms of lung trouble. It is superior to her lung remedies because of its greater nailing and tealing powera, in combination with exceptional tonic and strengths. ing qualities Angier's Emulsion is soothing alike to throat longs, tomach and intestines, and it has a most invigorating influence upt the general health. It is pleasant to take, ugrees perfectly with delicate stomachs, and improves appetito and digestion.

DRESS ON THE STAGE.
Several new plays just produced show the fashions of the hour and of the day After to-morrow,, and are instructive on that account. It is pleasant to note that almost all the skirts are draped, not only at the sides. but at the back, though usually with the very thinnest materials evening gowns with shadow lac and others with ninon, lace, or very soft silk. Cerise is the favourite colour on the stage, though emerald-green ruas it pretty closely. Brocade is still enjoy ing its insings as an outdoor material. A stage walking costume is in dark purple brocade lined with palest yellow, the coat half-length, and trimmed with brown fur,
THE MEDICI COLLAR.
OF FOOTGEAR.
Someone has prophesied that with the very short skirt the high heel is sure to reappear. But up to the present moment the taste is for the Cuban teel, set further back under the foot, and not so high as the Louis XV. The muddy weather has rendered the fashion of brown and tan shoes very acceptable, also of the.com- fortable elrith gaiters, which are such a protection against wet and cold. Later on the shoe will be seen in all its various colours, and it is more than possible that' the present season will make a record før, coloured footgear.-X. AND Z. in the Globe.

Brain Fag, Nervous Exhaustion-
Just a change of opinion was enough to give Mr. W. King his present prosperity, for he realised in the nick of time that his way was not curing his brain fag and nervous exhaustion, so he tried the Phosferine way- Mr. King's method was to ignore his despondency and feeling of collapse, and persuade himself there was nothing unusual in the painful fatigue the lightest effort to work cost him, until, as he steadily got werte, he resolved to drop his own opinion and see what Phosferine could do. The result was so astonishingly beneficial, even after a few doses, that the brain fag and nervous exhaustion cer sed entirely, enabling him to do more work than before and yet not feel the strain. This remarkable advantage is seen in the extraordinary energy and vigour of Mr. King's public speaking, and so amazingly have his prospects improved since his speedy recovery, that he declares he had to come forward with the evidence of the magnificent benefit be derived from Phosferine. Quite Gone-Never Return.
Mr. W. J. King, School House, Trumpington Rd., Forest Gate, London, E, writes: "I am writing to add my name to the list of those people who have found Phosferine to be the Greatest of all Tonics. Some time back I was very much tun down through overstrain brought on by incessant bodily exercise and inental application. The usual tendency of mankind is to give up some of their works, have a rest, and at the saine time take medicine, so I endeavoured to hep going on without seeking advice, but as I was gelling worse. I found that policy would not do. Having heard many friends speak about Phosferine, and one in particular offering me somo, I decided to give it a trial. Purchasing a 2/6 bottle, I began to doctor myself. The result not only astonished me, but others also noticed how much better I was, even although I had only taken a few doses. I found I could do the same amount of work easier, and at present am able to do more than before and yet not feel the strain. I have a good deal of public speaking, and I nd an occasional dose of Phosforine is a great benefit."-May 28, 1912...

FASHIONABLE COLOURS.
Brown for men, green for women, is to be the order of the day. There is in Paris an absolute rage for green, in such tones as lettuce, apple foliage, and lily of-the-valley. One seldom sees either in Paris or London whole gowns or costuines in these paler shades, but the trimmings are frequently in the spring colour. Black turned back with green makes 4 becoming combination, especially if the green revers, collar, caffs, etc,, are relley ed with black buttons of braiding. This might seem to be a very trifling detail, bat its effectiveness is undoubted. On the other hand, Guards colours are much in favour. Blu and red will be almost equally shared in extent in some of the tailor-mades. For instance, a blue cer selet skirt will be supplemented by a bodice in red ninon, or vice versa. There is a feeling in favour of rather violent contrasts, and also in favour of short coats in bright colours, which seem to have no affinity with the skirts. These coats are modelled on those worn in silk in the autumn, but they are in ratine, cloth, velvet, or fur.lu, the trousseau of one, of last week's brides there was a draped red cloth skirt, with a short coat of emerald green. This will give some idea. as to the suddenness and violence of the colour contrasts now, worn.
