Tho Chairman said:-Gentlemen, This is the statutory meeting of the com- pany, called in compliance with section. 65 of the Companies Consolidation Acts. The directors' report is necessarily of a merely formal character. The company was registered on June 27th last for the purpose of taking over the undertaking of the old company of the same name, The authorized capital of the new com pany is £1,000,000 in shares of £1 each, the shareholders of the old compeny being entitled to one share in the new company in respect of each of the old company's shares. The number of shares subscribed and allotted at the date of the report was seven, being the shares subscribed for by the signatories to the company's ziemorandum and articles of association for the purpose of the registration of the company.
