The P.M. str. Manchuria sailed from San Francisco for Hongkong via Hono- lule, the Japan ports and Manila on the 23rd August.

THIS AUSTRALIAN MAIL.

The E. & A. str. Empire left Port Dar- win on the 17th August, for this port (via Timor and Manila).

The 10.M. str. Prinz Waldemar left Sydney on the 24th August, at 11 am, and may be expected here on or about the 16th September.

THE CANADIAN - MAIL.

The C.P.R. Co.'s R. M. 6. Empren of Japan left Vancouver, B.C., for Hong- kong (via usual ports of call) on Wednes- | day, the 14th August, at- a.m.

THE ENGLISH MAIL.

The P. & O. str. India left Singapore- for this port on the 24th August, at 6. a.m., with the outward English mails, and is due here on the 8th August. at about noon!

THE GERMAN MAIL..

The LG.M. atr. Goelen carrying the German mails with dates from Berlin of the 7th August, loft Colombo on the E6th August at a.m., and may be ex- pected here on or about the 4th Septem- ber.

MERCHANT STEAMERS..

The str. Phuyen left Wakamatsu for this port, and is due to arrive here on or about the 28th August.

The T.K.K. str. Hongkong Mari arrived at Coronel from Valparaiso on- the 18th August and leaves there on her homeward journey to Hongkong on the 28th Angust

The P. & 0. str. Pulma luft Singapore for this port on the 24th August, at 7 a.m., and is due here, on about 29th August, at noon.

The str. ubi will leave Manila on the 27th August, and is due here on or about 30th August, at daylight.

The Ben Line str. Benlomond from Antwerp, etc., left Singapore on the 23rd August for this port..

The N.Y.K. str. Shidsuoka Maru (American Line) left Kobe for this port vin Moji and Shanghai on the 23rd August, and is expected here on the ist September.

The str. Glenogle left Rangeon on the 21st August for Hongkong via Penang and Singapore, and is expected to arrive here on the 2nd September.

The N.Y.K. str. Totomi Mara (Cal- cutta Line) left Calcutta for this port on the 20th Augast, and is expected here on the 6th September.

The Swedish East Asiatic Co.'s etr. Japan left Port Said on the 20th August, and is expected to arrive here on or about the 15th September.
