THE AMERICAN MAIL.

The P.M. str. Persia left San Francisco on the 4th May, for Hongkong, via Hono Julu, Yokobama, Kobe, Nagasaki, Naga- saki and Shanghai, and ie due to arrive At this port on the 1st June.

The P.M. str. Siberia left San Fran visco on the 25th May, for Hongkong vin Honolulu, Yokohama, Kabe, Nagasaki and Shanghai, and is due to arrive at Hongkong on the 21st June.

The P.M. str. Korea from Bay Fran- esco sailed from Yokohama on the 28th May (carrying U.S. mails), en route to Hongkong, via Kobe, Nagasaki and Manila, and is due to arrive at Hong- kong on the 10th June.

THE AUSTRALIAN MAIL. The E. & A. str. Empire from Sydney, etc., left Port Darwin on the 23rd May," for Manila and this port.

The E. & A. str. Aldenham left Sydney on the 11th May, for this port (via Queensland Ports, Port Darwin and Manila).

THE CANADIAN MAIL

The C.P.R. str. Empress of India left Vancouver, B.C., for Hongkong (via usual ports of call) on the 23rd May, a.m. MERCHANT STEAMERS. SHIHE LINE. Monmouthshire, tron London, is due in

Hongkong 3rd June. BRITISH INDIA STEAU NAVIGATION CO., LTD.

Fazilka, from Moji, is due in Hongkong

30th May.

The str. uttra is due here on the 25th from Japan, and leaves on the 20th for Rangoon via the Straits.

The P. & O. str. Simla lett Singapore for this port on the 28th May, at û á.m., and is due here on the 2nd Juar, at

The str. Indravelli passed the Suoz Canal on the 10th May, and is due here on or about 6th June.

The str. Glenroy passed the Suez Canal on the 10th May, and is due here on or about 6th June.

The American & Manchurian Line str. on the Kansas passed the Suez Canal 21st May, and is due here on or about 19th Jane.

The T K. K. str., Kiys-Maru sailed from Valparpict, Chili, on the 8th inst, for Hong kong and is expected here on the 28th July.

NEW FORTNIGHTLY SERVICE OF STEAMERS BETWEEN KOBE, HONGKONG AND RANGOON.

The 8.8 MUTTRA" 4,644 tons, Captain H. Carey, will be despatched for TOKOHAMA and KOBE on 7th June, at Noon, to be followed on 15th June, by 8.8. FULTALA" 4,154 tons. Captain Chidley, taking Carge and Passengers at Current Rates.

WESTWARD.

The S.8. "FAZILKA," will feare HosGxore for SINGAPORE, FENANG and RANGOON on 1st Juno, at Noon, followed by the BS, "ITOLA," on 10th June, taking Cargo and Passengers at Current Rates.
