The British str. Anhui report: Mode- rately southerly wind and foggy weather. The German str. Chiengnant reports: The ship accompanied the N.D.L. tug Pulcan on her voyage from Kohrichang to Hongkong Bad weather was experi- enced during the first five days of the trip, but the Vulcan was seen to be a good seagoing vessel.

The British atr. St. Allens reports: From Kobe to Shiro S.E. variable winds fine weather. Passing the Eastern sea experienced moderate S. E. and southerly winds and moderate sea with an almost continuous thick fog as far as Tung Yung, thence to arrival light to moderate S.8. W. winds with occasional fog banks.
