Nervous Breakdown, Paralysis-
THE HONGKONG DAILY PRESS, SATURDAY, JANUARY 18, 1912.
The mesley force which conquered the most perilous afflictions and enabled him to endure austzing hardship says Captain Henderson, is derived entirely from Posterire, Exposed by his adventurous life to an extraordinary series of misfortunes, from being disabled in action, ic susstroke, enteric fever, and paralysis of the legs, this gallant officer was "yet able, alively oring in the eit of Phosferin, to leave the hospital and fight through to the end of the Boer War! Under blows which make men red and tall, Capaia Henderson was so upheld by the vitalising and bracing qualities of Phosferine, that actually in his return home he was robust and vigorous enough to win four military prizes in one day, including the famous Victoria Cross Cupĺ
Cured with Signal Success.
Captain D. Elenderson, 1, Marmo Avenue, Clontarf, Dublin, writes:- "During the late Boer War, I had a severe shock from lightning, and an injury to the spine though my horse being killed in action and rolling on top of me. In India, some years préviously, find an attack of sun- strobe, and was five months in hospital with Enteric Fever. These troubles told upon me, and ultimately resulted in a complete nervous breakdown when in Premii. 1 was admitted to hospital when I had lost the use of my legs. 1 was treated for neuritis and sent out only partly cured, and then started taking Phorlefing systematically and regularly. The benefit I receive was marvellous; in wo months time I was back in the field and fought right through until the end of the war. Owing to a great financial loss, which preyed on my mind, I had a second break down, and the doctor told me that I would probably b. paralysed for life. I thought again of l'hosterine, and after using it about three weeks my strength gradually returned and the frightful depression and weakness left me. The proof of which is that, in the military sports, I won four prizes.in. bne day, including the Victoria Cross cup."-July 14, 1911.

Cherry was within a length of Copper King before Laucas recognised the danger. He shook his mount up, and the colt responded. There was no doubt about, his gameness or stamina. Tim Burney had a trifle on Copper King. "It's flying in the face of Providence "not to hack a colt file that, no matter who owns him," he said. &
Harry Burney had a modest fiver on bins, and realised the pleasure of winning, but he enjoyed far more the merry sparkle of de- light in Susie Lovett's eyes.
