The British Acting Consal at Bangkok reports, with regard to the protection of trade marks in Sism that Sections 236-8 of the Siamese Penal Codo prohibit (1) the counterfeit ing at any trade mark or any name or firm-name used as trade mark; ( (2) the fraudulent imita- tion of a trade mark, in a manner calculated to deceive a purchaser; (3) the importation, ssle, or exposure for sale of any goods known to bear a falee trade mark or an imitated trade mark, as described above.
