The Empress of India, with the Canadian Mail, left Shanghal on Monday, the 23rd fast., nt 8 1.3, and may be expected bore to-morrow, át 6 A.MI,

The Arcadia, with the English Mail, leit Singapore on Saturday, the 21st inst st 6pm, and may be expected here to-morrow, at Daylight. This packet brings the parools mails closed in London for despatch by the all sau route on the 20th Sept. aud for despatch overland on the 27th September.

The Prinzees Alice, with the German Mail, left Colombo on Sunday, the 22nd inst, and may be expected here on or about Thursday, the 2nd November.

The Public are informed that the Christmas and New Year Parcel Mail to the United Kingdom and the Continent of Europe by the long sea ronte vis Gibraltar will be closed in this Office on Friday, the 10th of November, 1911, at 5 r. This Parcel Mall is due in London on or about the 16th of December. The subsequent Parrel Mail is not das to reach London before the 30th of December. Parcels way be forwarded via Brindisi with an extra fee of 60 cents,
