The third meeting of the Gymkhana Club was held at Happy Valley on Saturday afternoon in plossant weather conditions. There wa good attendance of sphotators, and the number of startors in the different eronts was excep tionally large. A former gymkhanas some races have been run with only two ponies, bat at the last meeting there was not a race which bad less than seven starters, au eacouraging sign indicative of the growing popularity of the Gymkhana Club. The programme was carried through in's satisfactory manner and without

Favonius was first past the grand stand, with Oil' King second and Loobine third, while Kerry brought up the roar. Oil King took the lead pissing the Golf Club, Morescott lying second and Favonius third. The King and Merry Scott raced neck and neck op the Incline, while Kerry was sent ahead and drew up with the remainder of the field Emerging from the rook Merry Scott was in the vnu with Favorins second and Dorando third. Passing the villa e Lachine drew into fourth position, and the field enterod the straight in close order. Merry Scott and Favonius reced neck and neck in the forefront, Lachine lying third. Kerry came up strong in the home run and took the lead, but was promptly supplanted by Favonins, who gamely responded to the persuasius of his rider and won the race by hali & length. Lachine was third.

Nine starters were despatched in the last race

of the day, Kerry taking the lead from Toma hawk with Oul King third. The field continued in close order until the village was approached, when Tomahawk drew lovet and even wally passei Korry, the latter entering the
