A tradesman amoi Ardrow C. Bowden was summoned at Manchester last month, before the Stipondiary Magistrate, it being alleged that he had sold spirits in the shape of chocolate liquenr beans without a licence. An offer of the Customs and Excise Department sail the liquour chocolates contained spirits which could not be sold withent a licence.
