The Public are informed that the Christmas and New Year Parcel Mails to the United Kingdom will be closed in this effice at 5 p.m. on Friday, November the 13th.

This parcel mail by the long ses route is due in London on the 10th of December Parcels bo forwarded VIA BRINDISI with an extra fee of 60 cents, such parcels

pey are due to ronch London on or about the 11th December with the letter mail.

Parcels containing Gold or Silver must be insured for at least part of their value. All insured parcels must be sealed, all the seals must be of the same kind of wax, and mast hear distinct impressions of some device, and this device must be the same on rach seal. Straight, curved or crossed lines are not admissabla.

Coins must not be used for scaling. The Clerks of the Post Office are forbidden to siml parcels for the public, or to affix stamps on letters or parcels,
