Wednesday and Thursday, the 1st and 2nd January, 1908 are to be observed as Public Holidays.. The Pest flee will be pen on each day from 8.00 a.m. to 9.00 am, only; There will be no delivery of letters and one collection as on Sundays. The Money Order Office will be entirely closed.

The Arcodia, with the English mall of the 29th Nov., lett Singapore on Banday, the 22nd instant at 8 a.m., and may be expected here to-day, at noon. This packet bringe replies to letters despatched from Hongkong on the 29th Det, and the parcel mails closed in London for despatch by the all sen route on the 20th November and for despatch overland on the 27th November,
