The more the two largo volumes of Prince Hohenlohe's memoirs are studied the greater appear the interest sad importance of the disclosures which they make. In last night's despatch I extracted eo me of the most interesting passages relating to the period of Prince Hohen Tohe's Chancellorabip (1894-1900). The portions of the book which deal whith his activity as Ambassador in Paris from 187 10 1835 and with his topure of the office of Statthalter in Alter- Lorraine from S5 to 189 have an interest which is hardly inferior and which, as regards the Strassburg period at least, is hardly less acinal in its bearing upon great currents of foreign policy and on the personal factors in Berlis.
