NEW YEAR'S HOLIDAYS.

THE HONGKONG DAILY PRESS, WEDNESDAY, LECEMBER 27TH, 1905. FURNITURE

On New Year's Day the Post Office will be closed except from 8.00 a.m. till 9.00 sm. There will one delivery of letters and one collection as on Sundays.

The Money Order Office will be entirely closed.

The Oceans, with the English mail of the 1st December left Singapore on Sunday tho 24th inst., at team, and may be expected hote on or about Friday, the 29th in st, at 10 am. This packet brings replies to letters dospatoked from Hongkong on 31st October, and the marcol maile closed in London for despatch by the all sea route on 22nd November and for despatch overland on the 29th November.

A Mail for Macao, is despatched per sa Wingchui, on weekdays at 5.00 p.m. On Sanday the mail for Mario is closed at 8.00 sm,

and at 5.00 pm.

Mails for CANTON, SAMSHUI and WUCHove are closed on week-days at 7:30^6.m; Main for NAMTAO, SANBUE, KONGMOON, KUMCHUK, Samsiu), and Wuchów are clopot avery weekday, at & p.m. On Sundaya the mails ace closed at 3 a.m.

-ONEISENAU," having arrived, Consignees of Cargo are hereby informed that their Goods, with the exception of Opium, Treasure and Valuables, are being landed and stored at their risk into the hazardons and/or extra hazardous Godowns of the Hong- kong and Kowloon Wharf & Godown Company, Limited, Kowloon, whence delivery may be obtained,

Optional Cargo will be forwarded unless notice to the contrary to given before 10 a.m Tomorrow.

No Claims will be admitted after the Goods hare left the Godowns, and all Goods remaining undelivered after the 27th December will be subject to rent.

All broken, chafed, and damaged Goods are to be left in the Godowns, where they will be examined on Wednesday, the 27th Dasamber, at 9.30 ..

All Claims must reach us before the End January, or they will not be recognised. No Fire Insurance will be affected. Bills of Lading will be countersigned by the undersigned.
