TCONVENT at MROD will be very thankful to Shop keepers, Linen-drapers Clothiers and Tailors in Hongkong, Macao, and elsewhere whe will send to them remnants of material, tooks of patterns no longer used, and any pieces of doth, no matter bow email, of which they can.

Those who send will thus, at no cost to themselves, afford the numerous hands in the ochvent, ospecially the Kittle ones, opportunity for useful occupation; for pieces of cloth, even of a square inch, con be stitched together and very pretty pieces of work made out of cloth, that would otherwise be thrown away. These articles are bought by charitable persons and the Sisters are thus helped to keep up their very largo establishment, which is maintained by the aims of frioade and in a great measure by the earnings of the girls themselves, who lead y no means an idle life within the convent walls.
