CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEAR PARCEL MAILS, HOMEWARD. Parcels for the United Kingdem via Gibraltar posted up to 5 pm, on Friday, the 2rd of November are due in London about the 11th December, and those posted up to 5 p.. on Friday, the 17th November are due in London on Christmas Morning.
With an additional fee of 60 cents parcels may be forwarded via Brindisi and if posted before 5p. on the 37th November would accompany the leter mail due in London on the 18th Decomber, Parcels intended for New Year's delivery should also be forwarded by the mail of the 17th November, as the parcel mail of the 1st of December is not due in Loniton till the 8th of January via Gibraltar and the 22nd January via Brindisi,

Tho Safarie, with the French mail of the 15th ultimo left Saigon on Friday, the 18th inst., at Noor, and may be exported here today. This packet brings replies to letters dospatched from Hongkong on August 12th.
The Arcadia, with the English mail of the 22nd September, loft Singapore on Saturday, the 14th inst., at 8 a.m., and may be expected here on or about Thursday, the 19th inst., at 7 a.. This packet brings replica to letters despate bed from Hongkong on the 22nd August, and the parcel mails closed in London for despatch by the all sea route on the 13th of Angust, and for despatch overland on the 20th August.
Mails for CANTON, SAMSHUI nnu WTcHow are closed on work-cays at 7.30 a.m. On Bunday the mail for Macao is closed at 8 a.m.
Malls for NAMTAO, SANRUB, KONGMOON, KUMCHUK, SAMsHui, WUCHOW and *CANTON are closed every weekday, st.5 p.m. On Sundays the mails are closed at 0a.mk.
