Striking malogies between radio-activity and the blaviour of zone have been pointed out by Prof. Richars and Dr. Schenck, Prussian chemists. Freshly prepared zone and ozon that has been decomposed by donzonizers have the power of causing condensation in a steam jet, and inart conductivity to the air like the salts emitting Becquerel ruliation. Photo- graphic effects of ozone have been observed. It loot act upon karium platinocyanide or zine oxide, but it causes botagerial zine-bleude to thesce brightly, suggesting massive ions con- parable with the "Alpha rays of indium. Platium that has been in contact with exopy shows induced radio-activity. It is suggested that the slight conductivity of the atmospheresisting of a hundred interesting articles, packed and certain of the effects of radioactive substanes may be due to the formation and decomposition of ezotr.
