Medico-Legal Journal in which a Mr. Clark Bell (Attorney-at-Law) asserts that "this grout United States has never produced a man with a bigger brain and a warmer heart than Citizen Train. Very few mon bare had a more brilliant and extensive career, at home and abroad, and lived a life of greater usefulonas. His grah aim has always been to serve his fellow inen, but, like so many other great and self-mado on. born ahaad of his time, he has oftentimes been misunderstood and caused temporary annoyance, Few men, if any, have accomplished as much as Citizen Trais, and on the other hand we don't know of another man who has been so mach abused." He is too well known all over the world to ased any introduction from us. In making this announce. inent we simply congratulato bumasity at large, and especially those who are fortunate enough to get a copy of our magazine."

Perhaps, however, the following details, also from Our Home Rights, will give a better ides of Mr. Traiu's porsomality :--

It transpired that these publicstions were selected quotations | from the Bible, and from other books held in bigh estimation by the Roman Catholic Church, Aa inquisition was held at the instance of the District Attorney of New York City,[under the law as it then stood in New York, to determine theluuney of Mr. Train, who insisted upon pload- ing guilty before the magistrate, and who was committed to the Tombs to await bis trial. This trial became a cause odlìbre, and it finally resalted in a verdict by the jury adverse to the conten-
