Association of the Company be cancelled and the following Article substituted. therefor "The remuneration of the General Managers shall be a sam not exceeding 88,000 per annum (which aball cover office rent and anlaries of Secretary and other employees) and a commission of 5 per cent of the net profits of the Company for each year that such profits mount to 7 per cent. of the capital of the Company.'

Four houted tons of general arrived. yesterday by the German e.6. Sulberg from Newobwang and Chefco, Capt. Meyer reports strong N.E. wind and high son. The Sulberg will be one of the lost, departures from Neso- hwung before the ice period aota în.

The 0.8.K... Maidguru Maru arrived from Anping with 273 tons of cargo and 70 passen- gers, Chinese mostly, yesterday. She reports overcast weather,

Light to mod. N'ly winds between Shanghai and Ting Tang; and fresh N.E monsson fram Ting Tang to Hongkong, and reported by Cap. Whitelaw of the Chios Merchant 8.5. Meefoo, The Mecfoo left Shanghai with ton bag of mail. six bores of parcel post, 37 passengers, and 17 tons of general on the 12th and arrived here yesterday.

The Blue Gunsel sa, Promethens, Captain G. Moir, arrived from Liverpool via the usual ports of call yesterday. She had 700 tons of cargo, 119 Chinese passengers, and a mail for Hongkong. The passengers and mail were from Singapore, which port she left on the 9th iast. Hara

agents are Mors. Butterfield and Swire. Strong Nly winds and overcast are reported by the ae, Vik Sang from Nowchwang via Chefor. She arrived on Sunday with a mail and 1.000 tons of general cargo for this port.

The Douglas sa. Hoi Leong arrived from" Swatown on Sunday with 60 Chinoso passengers. one cabin passenger, 200 tons of general, 3 bags of mail, and ona boz of parcel post. Capt. J. W. Evans reports fine weather.

The Austrian Lloyd 8.8. Chénu arrived from Europe on Bunday with 1.500 tons of general cargo for this port. She left Bingapore with a mail, cabin passengers, and 328 Chinese The captain passengers on the 9th inst. reports strong N.E. monsoon.

Russia's present uneasiness is caused by the Balkan questions.
