DARING BRKY.

A most during robbery with violence took place on the sight of Friday last. The case for the prosecution was that a sampan-woman was hailed by three men, at Yaumafi, and told to row in the dirnation of a junk which they pointed out. The men embarked and the wo- man rowed off, but had not processed fer, when ons of the men in the boat seized her, throwing her down, and while he held her the second men ransacked her belongings, stealing jewelry valued at $22. The third man meanwhile pulled back to the shore. The womnu allegra that she was thrown overboard, but managed to cling to the boat until nearing the shore, when she shouted for help. A Sikh constable and two sepoys gave evidensa of the arrest of the wea, but their testimony was of sa conflict- ing a nature that His Worship 1emanded the caso until this morning,
