At the dinner given by the Royal Colonial Instituts at the Hotel Cecil on Saturday night to Dalis of Conningbt, K.G., commanding the Aldershot district, said he would be pleased to command the Colonials if all the colonial .' troops were up to the same standard as the men' now in London. The colonies had every reason to be proud of such men; and he was certain they would return to Australis feeling one with the British army. All ranks of the army, he added, were proud to welcome the Ceknial: tmaps.
