Post Office to participate in stamp exhibition
The Postmaster General, Mr Robert Footman, announced today (Tuesday) that Hong Kong Post Office will participate in the China Stamp Exhibition-Hong Kong which is organised by the China National Philatelic Corporation.
The exhibition will be held at the Hong Kong Exhibition Centre at China Resources Building in Wan Chai from May 10 to 13.
To commemorate the Hong Kong Post Office's participation in the exhibition, a specially designed souvenir cover will be placed on sale at all post offices at $2 each from May 3.
A souvenir pack containing stamps of Chinese Pagodas issued by China and Hong Kong Rural Heritage issued by Hong Kong will also be placed on sale at $25 each at the Hong Kong Post Office booth (No 21 and 22) at the exhibition and at the following eight philatelic offices from May 10:
