Construction of drainage outfall at Ma Wan
The Government intends to permit reclamation of about 1,260 square metres of foreshore and sea-bed at Ma Kok Tsui and another 790 square metres of foreshore and sea-bed at Kung Tsai Wan in Ma Wan for formation and construction of stormwater drainage outfall.
The works will involve trench dredging and ancillary works in the foreshore and sea-bed for the laying of a pipe/box culvert outfall.
Both projects are scheduled to commence work in the middle of next year for completion at the end of 1998.
The extent of the area affected is described in two notices published in the Government Gazette today (Friday).
Any person who considers that he has an interest, right or easement in or over the foreshore and sea-bed involved may submit a written objection to the Director of Lands within two months from today (Friday).
Notice of objection should describe the interest, right or easement of the objector and the manner in which he claims he will be affected.
