Sai Kung Public Pier extension works
The Government proposes to construct an extension to the Sai Kung public pier to provide berthing facilities for public use.
In another project, the Royal Hong Kong Jockey Club intends to build a landing platform to the north of the existing public pier for ferry service for the Kau Sai Chau Public Golf Centre. This will provide additional landing steps for public use.
Work for both projects is scheduled to commence in December this year for completion in three months.
The extent of the area affected is described in two notices published in the Government Gazette today (Friday).
Any person who considers that he has an interest, right or easement in or over the foreshore and sea-bed involved may submit a written objection to the Director of Lands within two months from today (Friday).
Notice of objection should describe the interest, right or easement of the objector and the manner in which he claims he will be affected.
