Three lots up for auction
Three lots of Government land on Hong Kong Island and in the New Territories will be offered for sale at a public auction on January 25 (Wednesday), a gazette notice said today (Friday).
The auction will start at 2.30 pm in the Concert Hall of Hong Kong Cultural Centre, Tsim Sha Tsui.
The first lot, located on Ap Lei Chau Praya Road, has an area of about 16,770 square metres for industrial or godown purposes, excluding offensive trades.
The developer has to complete a gross floor area of not less than 95,589 square metres on or before March 31, 2000.
The second lot, located in Area 19, Fanling, has an area of about 11,280 square metres for non-industrial use, excluding residential, hotel, godown and petrol-filling station purposes, but including commercial uses, a public transport terminus, a public car park and car park ancillary to commercial use, a day nursery and a social centre for the elderly.
The developer has to complete a gross floor area of not less than 64,296 square metres on or before September 30, 1999.
Covering an area of about 6,500 square metres, the third lot is located in Area 46 at the junction of Ma Lok Path and Kau To Shan Road, Sha Tin, for residential use.
The developer has to complete a gross floor area of not less than 2,340 square metres on or before March 31, 1998.

Conditions of sale will also be available at the District Lands Offices of Sha Tin. Tuen Mun, Yuen Long, Tsuen Wan, Kwai Tsing, Tai Po. North, Sai Kung and Islands.
