Mr LAM Wah-hing

Mr Lam has been with the Fire Services for 29 years and was promoted to Principal Fireman in 1978. Mr Lam has spent his entire career in busier fire stations in the Kowloon Command and has attended

· many major incidents.

Mr Michael LIU Chi-yuen

Mr Liu joined the Royal Hong Kong Auxiliary Police Force in 4:0968 and was promoted to his present rank of Senior Superintendent in 1986. He has spent most of his service in Sha Tin and is currently Mr Liu's Senior Superintendent (Auxiliary) in the Kowloon Region. civilian occupation is a Schools Inspector with the Education Department.

Mr MIAO Hsiung-haun

Mr Miao served for 40 years with the Royal Hong Kong Police and retired recently in the rank of Inspector. He served initially in the Uniform Branch, transferring in 1954 to the Identification Bureau where he spent the remainder of his career. Mr Miao is an expert on fingerprint technology.

Mr Alan Douglas NEWTON

Mr Newton joined the Royal Hong Kong Police in 1969 and was promoted to his rank of Superintendent in 1986. He has served in a wide range of posts in the Uniform Branch and Criminal Investigation Department. Since 1988 he has been successively Superintendent of the Erskine Centre and the High Island Centre for Vietnamese Boat People in Sai Kung.

Mr SIU Kit-hung

Mr Siu has 36 years' service with the Royal Hong Kong Police and has been in the Marine Police throughout his career. He is a He is due Technical Inspector and was promoted to that rank in 1976. to retire later this year.
