After the ceremony, there will be a community reception for Sir David at the City Hall Restaurant.

Following the reception, Sir David will dot the eyes of a lion outside the entrance of the City Hall before departing for Government House. At its entrance, a Guard of Honour formed by the Royal Hong Kong Regiment (The Volunteers) will present arms and Sir David will

acknowledge the compliment.

Media Arrangements

There will be press positions at Kai Tak Airport, the Tsim Sha Taul East promenade, Edinburgh Place, and inside the City Hall foyer, Concert Hall, and Restaurant. A press boat will be provided to cover the crossing of the Lady Maurine. Media representatives will be issued special lapel badges for each of the positions for easy identification.

Media will be set up at the pier next to the VIP suite. representatives are requested to assemble at the Press Room on the

ground floor of the airport terminal building by 1.30 pm. They will be escorted to the restricted area by GIS officers.
