Mr Duncan Robert Yorke BLUCK,

JP

Mr Bluck has a long and distinguished record of

public service. His experience in public affairs is well evidenced by the list of boards, committees and organisations, both governmental and otherwise, on which he presently serves.

Mr John Edgar PEACOCK, JP

Mr Peacock joined the Royal Observatory as a Scientific Officer in April 1950. He was promoted to Deputy Director in August 1965 and acted as the Director on numerous occasions until his substantive promotion to

Director in January 1981.

Mr Nigel Anthony RIGG, JP

Mr Rigg has contributed through his special expertise and knowledge to the development of the insurance industry in Hong Kong and is a past Chairman of the Marine Insurance Association of Hong Kong. He is also a past Chairman of the Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce and during this period of 2 years as Chairman and two additional years as Vice Chairman, Mr Rigg was extremely active in assisting the Government with specialised advice and support on a variety of appointments to important advisory boards and

committees.

The Hon. Andrew SO Kwok-wing, JP

Mr So is the managing director of the Credit Union League in Hong Kong and has achieved an international standing in credit unions. His public service includes work with the Independent Commission Against Corruption and the Standing Commission on Civil Service Salaries, but he is most notable as an Unofficial Member of the Legislative Council, which he became in 1978.
