MÌ CHAN Tin-sung
Mr Chan has been Chairman of the Tsing Yi Rural
Committee since 1980, and is a link between the Government and
the indigenous villagers of Tsing Yi. He is a member of the Tsuen Wan District Board and active in the promotion of recreation and sports in Tsing Yi.
Mr. FAN Kam-ping
Mr Fan is Principal of the CMA Pre-Vocational School. His particular concerns are education and juvenile delinquency; he is noted for his efforts to fight triad influence in schools,
and other community work.
Mr FONG Loi
Mr Fong was Vice-Chairman of the North Lamma Rural
Committee from 1968-72 and Chairman since 1976. He has been
a member of the District Advisory Board/District Board since
its formation.
Mr Peter HO Wing-ko
Mr Ho has worked with the Lions Club since 1966,
becoming District Governor in 1979. He was a prime mover in establishing the Lions Kowloon Centre for the Deaf in Oi Man.
He is Director of the Hong Kong Eye Bank, and also a founder member of the Hong Kong Youth Cultural and Arts Activities Scheme and Chairman of the Chinese Essay Writing Contest.
Mr IP
Chi-hoi
Mr Ip has been actively involved in community work in Mong Kok and Sai Kung since 1978. He has given consistent
support to youth and recreation activities, including financial
support and the use of his coach fleet.
Mr Richard KO
Mr Ko is Chairman of the Board of Directors of the
Pok Oi Hospital, and has made major efforts in drawing up an expansion programme for the hospital to meet the future needs
of Yuen Long.
