Mr. Peter LEE Lam-chuen
Mr. Lee is currently in command of the Criminal Investigation Department, Hong Kong Island District. Since his promotion to Gazetted rank in 1972 he has displayed outstanding command ability in a variety of operational and staff posts. His service has been marked by high professional ability and inspired leadership. He has made a major contribution to the successful prosecution of the war on crime on Hong Kong Island, and his sense of purpose and personal example have made a tremendous impact on all ranks serving under his command.
Mr. Frederic Samuel McCOSH
Mr. McCosh has held a variety of operational and staff posts. He was awarded the Commissioner's Commendation in 1970 when he was Chief Drill and Musketry Instructor at the Police Training School. Whilst Divisional Superintendent in charge of Central Division in 1974 and 1975 he bore a considerable
share of the responsibilities in connection with the visit to Hong Kong by Her Majesty the Queen and Prince Philip. From 1977 to 1978 he served as the Police Appointments Officer in
the Hong Kong Government Office, London. Also in 1978 he was largely responsible for the success of the Royal Hong Kong Police Band Tour in the United Kingdom. In his present role, Mr. McCosh has involved himself in improving the morale, fitness and enthusiasm of the Emergency Unit Hong Kong Island, a task to which he brings drive and initiative.
Mr. NG Yuen-kei
Mr. Ng joined the Force as a Constable in 1954 and advanced to Chief Inspector in 1971. He has worked in a variety of posts, with 12 years in CID operational and training duties; he has attended two U.K. Police courses and holds a Baton of Honour from one of them. He was posted to the Police Public Relations Wing in 1978, and has been responsible for the administration and development of the increasingly successful police-youth scheme "Junior Police Call".
