Mr. Cyril FRETWELL
Mr. Fretwell joined the British Fire Services in 1950 after two years service in H.M. Forces in Singapore and Egypt. After 13 years service he was appointed to the Hong Kong Fire Services where he has served for the past 18 years, a total service of 31 years. His performance of duty in all sections has significantly contributed to the development of the service. work on forming an underwater diving unit in the Fire Services
was extremely valuable. His skill and steadfastness has been
responsible for many lives and much property being saved from
fire and other calamities.

Mr. Peter Lloyd GEORGE
Divisional Officer George was appointed as a Station Officer in the Hong Kong Fire Services in 1963 after 11 years service in the British Fire Services, a total of 28 years served. Throughout his service he has been attached to all branches of
the Hong Kong Fire Services and has contributed significantly to its development in many ways including training, planning and over the last few years in fire prevention. His most outstanding achievements have been in the operational areas. He has displayed courage on many occasions and he has been responsible for the saving of many lives and much property from the effects of fire
and other calamities.
Mr. LAM Chek-yuen
His
Senior Divisional Officer LAM Chek-yuen has served for
24 years in all sections of the Fire Services in Hong Kong.
service in B.Q. has contributed significantly to the development of the Fire Services in recent years. At countless hazardous
emergencies he has shown courage, skill, determination and leadership of a high order and by doing so has been responsible for preventing many deaths, injuries and loss of prorerty from
the effects of fire and other calarities.
