Mr. LI Kwan-hung, JP
Mr. Li is Chairman of the Hong Kong Physically Handicapped and Able Bodied Association. The Association
recently opened the Lady MacLehose Centre, which provides recreational activities and facilities designed to integrate the physically handicapped and the able bodied. Mr. Li has been Chairman of the Association for a number of years and has been most effective in developing its activities to their present successful level. He has always worked behind the scenes, not only with the Centre but with a range of other public bodies on which he continues to serve, including the Hong Kong Council of Social Service, the Duke of Edinburgh's Award Scheme and the Campaign Committee of the Community Chest.
Mr. NG Wang-yiu
Mr. Ng entered the service as a Clerical Officer in
1955. He rose through the Clerical Officer ranks and was
promoted to Executive Officer in 1964. He has reached the
Grade's most senior rank of Principal Executive Officer at a
comparatively early age. He is the most senior local officer
in the Executive Grade and the only one in its most senior
rank.
Mrs. Margaret Sau-chung O'HARA
Mrs. O'Hara joined the British Council in Hong Kong as a junior and had risen to a post where for many important Hong Kong institutions and individuals, she represented the British Council. For many years she looked after the
secretarial work for the Sino-British Trust and the Royal Asiatic Society. She was also responsible for specialist visitors to and from Britain. Mrs. O'Hara is now Secretary
to the Trustees of the Croucher Foundation.
