Mr. Deric Daniel WATERS
Mr. Waters joined as an Education Officer in 1954
He and was made Organiser of Technical Education in 1963. was promoted to Senior Education Officer in 1968 and to Assistant Director in 1975. He planned the Technical Institutes which are now contributing so much to technical education and
he played a significant part in directing the future of Technical Education in Hong Kong.
Mr. WONG Mang-ki
Mr. Wong joined the Public Works Department in 1953. He became an Apprentice Engineer in the same year, an Assistant Engineer in 1955, a full professional Engineer in 1958 and progressed through the promotion ranks of Senior, Chief and He was promoted Government Engineer between 1964 and 1973.

office in 1977.

Mr. CHAN Shek
Mr. CHAN Shek has a long association with the Civil Aid Services, going back to 1938 when he was enrolled into the Aid Raid Precaution Corps as a District Warden.
During

hostilities in Hong Kong he served as a Fire Fighter. the Civil Aid Services were reformed in 1952 he was one of the first volunteers to rejoin. He enrolled as a Warden and was quickly promoted to senior non-commissioned officer.
In 1971
he was promoted as Commander for the whole area of West Kowloon, an appointment he holds at the present time.
Mr. CHAN Shek is
now 70 years old and will shortly retire after more than 40 years loyal and distinguished service.
