The Honourable Charles YEUNG Siu-cho, JP

Mr. Yeung has a well-established reputation for public and honorary service, particularly in the New Territories. He was appointed to the Legislative Council in 1977 and in

addition he is a member of the Board of Education, the Fight

Violent Crime Committee, the Council for Sports and Recreation

and, most recently, the Public Accounts Committee, among many

other bodies. His voluntary work covers a wide range of interests, including hospitals, boy scouting, Discharged Prisoners Aid Society and various professional service organisations.

Mr. CHAN Wa-shek

Mr. CHAN Wa-shek joined the Prison Service as a

Warder in August 1951. He has advanced through the ranks and was promoted to Assistant Commissioner of Prisons in 1978. He was further promoted to Deputy Commissioner in 1980. Mr. Chan was awarded the Colonial Prison Service Medal in 1969 and the

First Clasp to the Medal in 1976.

Mr. CHOW King-choi, JP

Mr. Chow joined the service as a Temporary Clerk in 1947. He was appointed Treasury Tax Inspector in 1948, Assistant Assessor in 1957 and thereafter proceeded through the professional grade to reach his present rank of Assistant Commissioner in 1975. He is a qualified accountant, currently

a Fellow of the Association of Certified Accountants and a

Fellow of the Hong Kong Society of Accountants. Mr. Chow will retire from Government service in January 1981.
