CPM (Colonial Police hedal

Mr. John Peter WILSON

Mr. Wilson joined the Royal Hong Kong Police Force in 1954 and

was promoted to Senior Superintendent in 1977. He was awarded the

Colonial Police Long Service Medal in 1971 and the 1st Clasp in 1976.

Since 1975 he has been responsible for the Traffic Management Section and

represents the Force in planning new road systems and the diversions

necessary during construction works, including Mass Transit Railway

construction and schemes to assist traffic flow and pedestrian movement.

The unprecedented scale of construction works and the development of new

towns, coupled with a fast rising population, have caused considerable

traffic problems and it is due to his great experience and skill that so

many have been resolved.

Mr. YIU Pak-cheung

Mr. YIU Pak-cheung has served in the Uniform Branch throughout

and has been commended by his Commanding Officer for leadership, ability

and devotion to duty of a very high order on no less than five occasions.

His dedication has been an excellent example throughout the years to all

his colleagues in the Force.
