Radio Workshop and personally serviced the launch radar and navigational

equipment. During his service in Kowloon, many improvements have been

made in the field of communications, particularly the introduction of

the Personal Beat Radio Scheue, and much of the credit for the swift and

smooth implementation of the scheme must go to hin.

Mr. WONG Sou-hin

Mr. Wong was first appointed as a Squatter Control Coolie in

the former Resettlement Department in 1954 and is currently serving in

Squatter Control Division. Mr. Wong was promoted to Foreman in 1966.

He has always proved an industrious worker and has carried out difficult

assignments patiently and confidently.

ile was a Founder Member of the Resettlement Department Junior

Staff Association (now Housing Department Junior Staff Association) and

has held various offices in this Association.

Mr. Mohamed shin

Mr. Ashraf has given 26 years service, mainly in the Pakistani

Contingent of the Emergenoy Unit, Now Territories and in recent years

in Traffic, New Territories. He has been a Station Sergeant for six

years and an NCO for 17. He has twice received Commanding Officers'

commendations for exceptional work over a period of time.

Mr. Cheung Man-pan, Chief Inspector of Police (Auxiliary),

joined the Royal Hong Kong auxiliary Police Force in 1952 as a
