Mr. Ronald William SMITH
Mr. Smith joined the Royal Hong Kong Police Force in 1958.
He has recently retired from the Force. Mr. Smith's career was in the
Uniform Branch. Following promotion to Gazetted rank he served as a
staff officer at Police and District Headquarters level, in the long
Kong Government London Office and was Divisional Superintendent Eastern. Mr. Smith's performance was characterized by loyalty, dedication
and professional competence.

Mr. Thorpe joined the Royal Hong Kong Police Force in 1960. Since his promotion to Senior Superintendent the major part of his
service has been with the Criminal Investigation Department.
