Rev. Canon Imest William Lunn Martin

Canon Martin has spent more than 60 years serving the people of

Hong Kong and Malaysia.

Following a period at St. John's Hall, he taught at St. Stephen's

College, where he became principal in 1928. He re-established the

college after the war, and following three years in Malaya, retumed to

Hong Kong as Chaplain of St. John's Collega, where he las had a remarkable

influence on students and others for over 20 years.

Mr. Jack Alec Wallace, J.P.

Following service in the Royal Navy, with the Crown Agents, and

in Malaya, Mr. Wallace joined the Hong Kong Government as a Mechanical

Engineer in 1965. he was promoted in 1970 to Principal Government

Electrical and Mechanical Engineer, the most senior post in his discipline

in the P.W.D.

Mr. Wallace has rendered outstanding service to the Government

in an important field over many years. He is due to retire in 1978.

Mr. Woo Ting-seng

Mr. Woo served as an Ascistent Agricultural Officer with the

Goverment from 1946 to 1965. Since 1951 he has been associated with

the Kadoorie Agricultural Lid Association (K.A.A.A.), and since his retirement

from the Goverment he has been responsible for maintaining all the K.A.4.A.

activities, including the Kadooria

perimental Farm.
