At the Evening School of Higher Chinese Studies there is a 3 years

general arts course leading to a diploma issued by the Education Department.

There are 500 students in this evening school which runs 40 classes,

five evenings a week.

Teachers who attend the course may have their fees refunded on

passing the annual examin>tion.

"Applications for admission to the first or second year of this

course are now invited," the spokesman said,

"Completed forms with all necessary academic certificates should

be handed in personally to the Supervisor of the Evening School of Higher

Chinese Studies on August 1."
