Mr. Sidney Samuel Gordon is Senior Partner of Messrs. Lowe, Bingham

& Matthews, Chartered Accountants.

He joined the firm in 1946 and became the

senior partner ten years later. He is a Member of the Institute of Chartered

Accountants of Scotland. He has been an Unofficial Member of Legislative

Council since 1962 and has been Chairman of the Hong Kong General Chamber of

Commerce since 1963. He was appointed an Unofficial Justice of the Peace in

1961. He is a Member of the Council of the Chinese University of Hong Kong,

a Member of the Court of the University of Hong Kong, a Member of the Trade

and Industry Advisory Board, a Member of the Cotton Advisory Board, a Member

of the Authorised Auditors Board, a Council Member of the Hong Kong Management

Association, a Member of the General Committee of the Federation of Hong Kong

Industries, Honorary Treasurer of the Hong Kong Anti-Cancer Society, a Past

President of the Association of Chartered Accountants in Hong Kong, a Past

Chairman of the Hong Kong Club and a Former Captain of the Royal Hong Kong
