London, July 20. The Imperial Cricket Conference decision to defer the question of South Africa's membership gets a mixed reception from the British press. The Daily Mirror cricket writer, Brian Chapman, says: "I look- ed for an uncompromising condemnation of apartheid in cricket. It was not forthcoming.”
