The American owned and Irish truined Ballymoss Last week won the Prix de L'Arc de Triomphe at Longchump, Paris, heating the cream of European thoroughbreds in the 50,000 race.

He became the greatest winner of stakes in a season among horses trained in Europe, having already won the Irish Derby, the Doncaster St Leger, the Eclipse Stakes, the Coronation Cup and the King George VI and Queen Elizabeth Stakes.
