The first day's events of the two-day Hongkong Jockey Club's Seventh Race Meeting of the current season will be run off at Happy Valley tomorrow, while the second day's races will be held the following Saturday,
The first saddling bell will be rung at 1.30 p.m. with the first race at
2.00 p.m. sharp.
An attractive programme of eight events with satisfactory entries has been drawn up, outstanding among which is the Telegraph Bay Handicap for Class 1 ponies over one mile. Here are my estimates of the 3 ponies to be ridden by novice chances:
