FRANK SANDO LEADS THE FIELD
An athletics competition between London and Budapest, held recently in London, was won by the London team in the men's section by 98 points to 90 points. Picture shows London's Frank Sando, winner of the 5,000 Metres, taking an early lead in the race. Following are M. Szabo and J. Kovacs of Budapest.

SPORTS ROUNDABOUT
Turpin For
Logical Contender
Vacant British Light-Heavyweight Title
Randolph Turpin, once a world champion, now written off as just another fighter, may become the new British Light-Heavyweight Champion.
At 28, Turpin is the logical contender for the championship he once held and never lost, and which has been vacated because of Ron Barton's enforced rest in Moorefields Eye Hospital. Turpin may fight Alex Buxton as a substitution for the Barton-Buxton fight at Leicester on November 19.
